.....Trawling the internet last night, we discovered a range of banner ideas being prepared in your honour.

Some of the more friendly ones included: "Des-loyalty", "Dogs have Des-temper" and "Haslem El-Deslery".

"There's other ones too - but we don't want to tell you about them," Manly diehard Steve Lukas told us.

"We want them to be a surprise for Des.
