jorge play the ball.

First Grader
Watching big jorge play the ball reminds me of an under 6 minor league game . By the time he gets up and places the ball, it seems ages for the dummy half to get to it . I would have thought the coaching staff to be all over this and encourage quick play the ball.

After his performance on Saturday night I don't think he should be let near 1st grade ever again. He's our Manu Vatavi . Unfortunately there is no-one coming through which can replace him.

Considering he is an 80 minute player, his involvement is large as a hit up man. His wrestle in every contest is epic, i think we should cut him some slack. I know we have these thoughts on forwards and backs but he is the size of a forward but we cut them slack after 20 minutes

Sure his touches are more spread out at times, but he works as hard as any. He could be quicker and i suspect he trys to send a message to the refs in it as well. He is quite successful at winning the team penalties

His good far outweighs his bad and in previous season we struggle when he is injured,

Im not knocking him , i love the jorge and i agree all the way , all im thinking is that quick play the ball is very important to get momentum and he is just so fuchen slow at it and shouldn't be hard ti fix.

Ian Roberts would have a great time marking up against Jorge
Roberts was one of the best at striking the ball back at marker unfortunately you can't do it any more
Yes your right though he doesn't play the ball all that quick which he needs to work on considering how hard he runs

But you're forgetting the most important thing (IMO).....he actually uses his foot to play the ball (well, most times). At least he's not going to give away a penalty if the refs ever decide to pull that out of their arses again.

Yer roberts and elias would of had field days .

Roberts and Wally Lewis were the best rakers I've seen. They were deadly at first marker.....when it was legal.

I love Jorge, but he always scares me when he carries the ball. Seems to lose it a lot. Hug that ball tight Jorge lol.

He wasn't too bad? He took plenty of runs, although that one error was bad at the end leading to the try, however, we all make mistakes and I'm sure plenty of other players wouldn't have done any differently than jorge did
