Jason Smith entered an early quilty plea for the Dangerous throw on Anthony Watmough and will cop a 2 match suspension.

Simon Woolford will fight his charging of a grad one high tackle but if found guilty will cop a 2 match suspension because of precious carry over points.

Jason Smith should have been off for that throw. He not only lifted but then slammed choc down from about 4 or more foot off the ground.

I am positive that taking him out was a game plan. Anthony made just 60 metres that match after the sickening tackle which is 70 metres off his average.

Its just a pitty for the Raiders that they wern't able to shake up Kennedy, Kite, Menzies, Hecks or lulu.

Dan - it wasnt smith who slammed - he lifted the legs

It was thompson who slammed and should have been sighted as well - and gotten a similar charge.

Smith is injured - they say he would have played this week but i really think that was a cover up to keep the suspension at a minimum.

Watmough was on fire in the first 20 - easily our best. Everytime adamson got the ball watmough smashed him - causing the doubt to creep in and negating his effect. His running at the moment is phenominal - he gets stopped by 3, then lift his body a little and walks 5m with them hanging on most tackles. Youd think he had another 10-20 kgs of muscle the way he plays.

As experience comes he will become a very good player.
