n says only 14 other players have reached the milestone since the club was formed in 1947.

The list is chock-a-block with club legends including Bob Fulton, Cliff Lyons, Steve Menzies and Terry Randall.

Brent Kite is the only other Sea Eagles prop to be a member of the 200 club.

“The fact that so few frontrowers do it makes it an achievement in itself,” said Middleton, the boss of League Information Services.

“It is obviously the toughest position on the field to play and they are expected to go through every week.

“I guess to get to 200 is the equivalent of every average player getting to 250 or 300 games.”

King, a Belrose Eagles junior, made his NRL debut against the Cowboys on March 22 2003.

His game total would have been a lot higher if he had not missed almost all of last season after undergoing a shoulder reconstruction.

He made up for lost time when he tore into the Burgess brothers in his comeback game against Souths.

While a packed Leichhardt is a cauldron, King is happy to be taking on the Tigers on their traditional home tomorrow.

“That will be fantastic, it is similar to Brookvale Oval and we really relish the fact that we get to play them there,” King said.

King loves playing at those traditional suburban footy venues.

“It’s a fantastic spectacle, you are nice and close to the fans and it really feels like authentic rugby league,” he said.

“I know the rest of the boys are feeling similar type of thoughts.”

No better time than tomorrow for Kingdog to make up for lost time and lead the way against the Tigpies.

Celebrate this great milestone with a win!

Gotta laugh at everyone pulling themselves silly over Sutton breaking the appearance record for Souths with .....wait for it....212 games. LOL. Foundation Club, Pride of the League, Til I Die, blah blah blah. Such a great club they can't get anyone to hang around and play for them. We've got nearly a dozen players who have played more than that, says a lot about what sort of club Manly is.

Hope Kingdog has a big one tomorrow, there's a couple of lippy young guys in the Tigers pack that need the Burgess treatment.

Congrats to the big Kingdog eventhough he passed it ages ago no thanks to the No idea RL. Actually think it's time he should start and bench Starling after all he is the captain.

Good stuff Kingdog.

As the article states, only the second prop to crack 200 and given he was paired with the 1st bloke you can understand why we have been so good over the last 10 years

Under rated by many journalists and many RL fans but never by opposition players or Manly Die Hards. Local kid done good.

Kingy to show these 'pretenders' in the Tigers pack they have a long way to go before they reach elite status.

Kingy tear them a new backside!

Congrat's Kingy. It's a great achievement in this era (or any).

It's a pity that 1) The team didn't get a win for you, and
2) Now we've had a loss people call for your resignation!

Onward and upward towards 400!

Well a new one one was certainly torn.

I hope King wears it well.

Where was he yesterday?

Getting his clacker re-sleaved. Apparently they surgically insert a leg of ham up there, and then pull the bone out. Could be out for a while. Kingy that is, not the bone.
