Never really expected much from Tamou, absolute shocker of a signing for 800k. Barely bends the line. Panthers pack has always seemed quite poor this season in terms of making metres imo. They are definitely a side who tries too hard to replicate their stunning attack of the past, making them rather easy to defend against as they build little pressure and waste their chances throwing the ball all over the place until the either lose it or throw a forward pass/intercept. Fine for versing easy sides (not too many of them this year) but when against good teams that know what they will be doing the Panthers will struggle.

Tamou was a good player, was being the operative word.......$800K for a front rower without ball skills is absurd.

But there's some good news from it, its doubtful the Riff will be able to keep all their young stars as a result, so plenty on the market in 2018.

Gus got this one wrong, not that he would ever admit it. If he was going to target a Cowboys forward he should have tried for Taumalolo or Scott.
