2 tries in a G F in a losing side , quite notable , so must have been a pretty fair player in his time . Probably some connection to Eddie Lumsden , a gun winger who apparently started or had some time with Manly 1 st grade maybe late 50 's or early 60 " s until the cashed up Dragons at the time poached him .

Yes Eddie played for Manly too, in the early 1950’s, before finding greater fame at St George.

Yep I know one of Eddie’s daughters. Eddie got done by the NSWRL for living out of the area when playing for Manly. He had a year in the bush then when he returned to Sydney he signed with St George and the rest is history.
