Yes but the NRL is now 423 set restarts in the first 33 min followed by a change in the wind and 522 set restarts in the final 15 min. Oh and 41 players in the bin at some point.

A key difference is that in Rugby everyone is very comfortable in the knowledge that noone else knows the rules......

In League everybody thinks they know the rules only for the refs to make up new ones as they go along.....

It’s pure entertainment now. Like most sports these days the traditions are fading away. Blow outs mean f all these days too. You can lose by 40 one week and win by the same margin the next.

From a purest's perspective, the best part of last night's game was between our first and third tries. It was an arm wrestle and really interesting footy. Apart from that 22 minutes, if you were neutral it would have been pretty ordinary viewing.
