I think next year there should be a tweak to the 30 man squad and development player system.
Im fine with the current system but I think once a player succumbs to a season ending injury (verified by the NRL), they should be able to be placed on the injury list and one of the development players be activated in their place.
Once on the injury list a player cannot be selected again that season, so for example the Raiders wouldn't have Josh Hodgson listed as they may have him available late season but the Knights could place Moga on it.
I dont see any salary cap or fairness issues as all clubs are already paying these 6 guys 60k each and it would be available to all
