I hate the media.....

I honestly have a dislike of the media! Headlines like 'Undermanned Titans too good for Eels' or 'Manly shock injury ravaged Cowboys'........funny how the Cows had injured / suspended players & is basically the excuse for their loss to Manly & then special mention made about the Titans so called injury woes & how they were courageous in their defeat of the Eels, yet Manly has 4 front line players missing due to injury / suspension & not a word mentioned!!!
Talk about unbiased reporting. Actually I don't have a dislike for the media........I f@#$%&g hate them! I so hope Manly goes on a roll & shuts their dribbling mouths.

I just read the news.com report on the game and it was all analysis of the cowboys injury woes and nothing about our skill. Maybe they took the report from the local Townsville newspaper but it still is crap reporting. If you have ever listened to the Newcastle ABC call a Knights game you get something similar. Detailed calls of the home teams 6 tackles and when the other team has their 6 tackles they spend all that time talking about the Knights previous set.

We will never get a fair go from them. Manly losing or being in trouble sells newspapers for them and that has always been the case, When the levels of hate and vitriol are at their peak, you know we are doing well.

To be fair, its no different from the excuses dished up here over the last 2 weeks for our losses... So why shouldnt they do the same...
I didnt expect Manly to win last night... Happily admit i was wrong... Partly due to Manly skill, but man, i havnt seen the cows play that diabolically in a long time.. Jt dropping certain trys, kick off going dead straight after a manly try, dropping the ball cold almost every single set in that second half... Very happy we won, but it was a pretty handy assist from the cows too

Our fans seem to agree with the media on these types of issues. Missing 4 big frontrowers last week was not a good enough reason to help explain our performance for posters on here yet the cows missing players is how they explain our win yesterday. Go figure.
