If players happened to be suspended for 4 weeks and the Sea Eagles win their 'home' final and earn a weeks rest as a result, does that weeks rest count as a week/game off that suspension?

Good point. Same if they opt for matches rather than weeks. It penalises Manly and Melbourne for winning the first finals match.

not really. Not much you can do about it, we aren't scheduled for a game so we don't get that as a discount. Really it's as fair as it can be.

It's hard to discriminate against someone who has done something wrong

They would issue a four match suspension, not a four week suspension. It's always been like that. A bye weekend for example has never been included as part of a suspension.

we can still finish 3rd!And,any team in the top 6 can have the 2nd week off if results went screwwy.Ie:if 1,2,3 and 4 lose,5 and 6 get the week off.Top 2 placed winning teams.
