How will we back up after the conditions

the players played in very hot humid weather. They were drenched in sweat. The travel, some of the forwards played big minutes. Will they be ready to rumble against the dogs. Will we see a drop off .
A pretty humid weak by sydney standard expected this week as well. Today is a shocker.

Bigger concern is how the dog track will hold up. The surface is poor at the best of times, let alone after a weeklong drenching.

My mate Big Simmo is a card carrying Doggies fan with whom we have a standing wager every time we meet. He has in recent seasons been giving it to me delux for at least two weeks before we play, and this year has been no exception, he has been annoying me daily .... that is until Sunday ... I have not heard a peep from the big diickhead and he is not returning my texts. I think we have them on the run.

Will be nice to see us play through the dogs and not around them. Given 3 of our top props are back and our back 3 doing some heavy lifting early in the sets we should run through them. I remember each time we have played them we look to play around them avoiding the big bodies and it plays into the dogs hands knowing that. We get shut down way too easy and frustrating to watch. Will be very interesting to see this week to see if we adjust and back ourselves in the middle.

Marty owes us a big game and if Nate and the rest of the forwards back up again we should get em.
I doubt Trent will be roughing them up too much at training this week.

I know they've had the wood on us but fair dinkum, the dogs have got absolutely nothing. If we can't beat them it's sack baz time again.
They always just grind us up the middle . If we can knock their muppet heads over early we should put a score on them.

With forwards returning, there is absolutely no excuses. I'd be making this a trophy game if I was Barrett , Rd 4 is our most important game so far this year. Backing up a game in which every player looked committed and worked there backside off, with another good performance and committed team effort will make or break our season.

Some of our players will be rightfully gassed however Trent should be able to use the 2 big boys coming back to offset that a bit. Lane isnt match fit yet but didn't play huge minutes so could also be used well against the dogs.

Jake, Myles and BJ should not be expected to do that much work again but 40 odd minutes out of the props should be enough (they played almost 60 minutes each on Saturday) and Jake can be given a spell in the middle and play 60.
