What a load of rubbish the indicators are if you take into account the NRL scheduling which affects crowds, the govt handouts to marginal seats which affects memberships, Local juniors should include players brought through U23's or Holden cup whatever it is now, Final series and GF's should be based on the last 25 years. I started to read this article until I came up to the part where they were taking Mark Geyer's point of view and then stopped reading.
MG is an intellectual lightweight and a downright embarrassment in his program at MMM. Mark did get one thing correct when he said greater brains than him decide, however in the NRL they are intellectually on par with Geyer.

Since the modern era the 70s our club won more premierships that all these other clubs yet our supporters did not reciprocate

I am sad to see our club being the least contributed in not only in Sydney but all of the NRL .

We need many more fans that can contribute like you do and others that are club members

Well we haven't had an ownership model or management that has put a lot of effort into engaging with fans over the last 5 or 6 years. There's been a lot of scores settled and egos paraded - surely there's a KPI for that ? We'd be leading the KPI for number of CEO's employed too wouldn't we ??

Build it and they will come someone wise once said. They've at least started clearing the block over the last 12months - let's see the DA get lodged. Or maybe we just need a new developer ??

They had a corrupt board that disgraced their members and since then their board are full of promises but have not delivered any success to their fans for over 50 years

They have a shiny new stadium without a shiny new premiership trophy where fans sit in their shiny new seats and watch their team get flogged

Last but not least their club also have a lol parra thread here on our Silvertails forum for good reason
