The Who

Journey Man
SOO 1 saw us lose DCE against the Worriers, who lost no-one.
SOO 2 is in Perth on Sunday, June 26. When will the teams be selected? I'm not sure. Will it be after round 14 of the NRL which concludes on June 13, giving players 13 days break to refresh, train, get to Perth and do all the media promotions etc?
If so then this is good news for Manly who plays the 'Boys on June 17. The 'Boys will have plenty of players missing whilst we will be missing just DCE.
Or will SOO 2 be selected after round 15? If so, the 'Boys will have all their fit SOO players available to play us, and we'll have DCE, if he is fit. That's not such a lucky scenario.
In round 16 we play The Storm on June 30. It would be a big ask if The Storm's SOO representatives back-up (Munster, Grant, Kafusi ...) and travel back from Perth for the match. That would be a lucky break for us.
SOO 3 is on July 13. We play Newcastle three days later on July 16. Potentially Newcastle could rest Ponga and (possibly) Frizell. Again, that seems like an advantage to us.
However, NSW may select Guacca for the next one/two SOO matches, which would impact Manly's performances.

Thoughts? Clarifications?

SOO players are available for selection in round 15.

Thank you for the clarification.
It means that the players will only have seven days to do all their preparations and promotions. Don't they normally have 10 days to do this?
And with the second game being in Perth It would seem a less than ideal preparation.

It will only cost us if it’s golden point… otherwise, we gain big time.
