How depressing

Jeez, it's always so quiet and depressing around here the week after the grand final week!

It gets so quiet and now I need to find other ways to entertain myself during work lulls!

So true.  Yesterday at 5pm I was thinking back to the GF day and couldn't believe it's been a week.  We're still premiers and that but i guess the party's all over now folks...just not long enough!

Not having a doctorate in advanced mathematics, physics, chemistry or anything really, anything beyond basic mathematics is beyond me, therefore, string theory etc, is not something I would embark on during my weekend hours, to obtain the mathematical result that is required

The cricket has been decent watching and I've taken to videoing the NFL games to watch on a Friday night to replace FNF.  There's little likelyhood of finding out the results unless you go looking for them!

I understand the depression thing, I think it is because we finished on such a high and you just want the season to continue. Compare to that recent seasons when on each occasion we finished in less that good circumstances and all I wanted to do was forget and look forward to the next season.
