Highest paid Manly player: it will surprise

The Who

Journey Man
We all know DCE is on a reported $1-million per season. But he plays a full 80 minutes, so his on-field rate is probably not as high as that of Poo Brown. I'd imaging Poo is on $300,000 a year, but he only plays for an average of 15 minutes a match, or around one-fifth that of DCE.
Thus, Poo probably earns more per minute for on-field exertion than any other Manly player.
I know; I feel sick in the stomach too.

that's sort of a quantity view
quality does also come into it
though I have to admit quantity does have a quality all of its own....

and neither DCE or Brown do anything related to Manly that would be part of their job except time on the field.

Brown isn't even in the top 5 even by your weird logic.

Stewart and Matai are infinitely better paid than either as well for that matter having not spent one second on the field.

Lussick is also a lot better paid as is Lane and Jono Wright.

I believe that as a batsman you don't get a batting average until you are dismissed. So your score can be divided by the number of dismissals.

So you can't include Brett and Matai in this exercise. They are paid but there is nothing to divide their money by.

Beat that for logic.

Because the comparison wasn't for average wage it was for wage paid per minute played.

That's not fair on DCE.

DCE and Myles were the only players in he whole game at the NRL/RLPA wage meeting on Monday.

Oh wait. ...
