Hi all from Tamworth. Have spent a week totally devoid of footy and media. No papers, no free to air telly and no radio in Byron Bay. Just lots of beach, reading and sleeping!
Had a tv that did get the Manly-St G game last weekend (watched every game and even the swans and the rugby)- bit of a downer we lost and I was very depressed about the standard of Manly's centres. Just caught up on salary cap cheating, footy show rumours, new CEO for Manly plus other Sea Eagle updates. I was very impressed with Kite against the Dragons and Harris was good as well.
Have bored my family silly showing them where I scored tries, took wickets, learned to drive, etc in Tamworth. Back to the big smoke tomorrow. Managed to catch 10 mins in the Tudor Inn to see Brett Stewart score two tries today but hope to catch up on the Manly win on tape - if my mate remembers to get it for me!
