Geez we could really do with a similar player now. Along with Beaver and Kosef, formed the best backrow in the history of rugby league. That's my opinion. Anyone disagree? Our '87 backrow with Faulton and Crusher would have been great too. I think Parra would have had a couple of great ones in the '80s with Cronin et al.

Menzies/Gartner/Kosef three great athletes, all tackled like demons, all as fast as backs and all creative ball in hand, blessed to have those three blokes in the same line up.

Garts wasnt as flash as the other two and unfortunately lived in the shadow a little, if he was in another era he would have got far more accolades.
