Before Manly get a call like the one Blake received from the flunker to give the blessed one’s a a late sniff. Good on you Chez for reminding Ash the Gash how many times we’ve been dudded by the NRL this season. It got us a couple of six agains/penalties and chewed up the clock.

Well done Parker, Levi, DCE and Paseka for exposing the lounge lizards as... well, lounge lizards. Has Des lost his mojo?

it doesn’t change anything, it just means we played better, not that the criticism wasn’t warranted in the first place.

we still look pretty dreadful and we continue to do stuff the hard way. But we got guts and we got character. But skill and attention to detail is what gets you too the pointy end of the season

When you watch every other team it's plain to see that we don't exploit the bomb. While we scored our first try of the season tonight from a kick (yipee) we don't use the kick as a weapon. I'm sure our coaches know this and it's why we have purchased a tall fast winger from Canterbury.
The kick-high-and-hope tactic is creating more scoring opportunities than ever the way RL is now played.
We need to make this skill a priority.

Spot on, lots to work on.

A wins a win, but the second 40 was ordinary.

I still think we need more attacking players in the team, if you look at last season’s finals campaign we lost a few with injuries and the young blokes added huge value to a team that was looking fatigued.

If you are referring to Harper who is a specialist centre, he is supposedly 180cm tall and 95 kgs....(more like Matai in build)

Nope I'm saying that there is nothing constructive about name calling and denigration which tend to be the go-to for many on ST...

Constructive -"Chez needs to improve his short kicking game"...
Non-constructive - "Chez is a myth and a waste of salary cap"

Constructive - "Paseka isnt having enough impact and Des should give Tof Sipley a start"
Non-constructive - "Pillowseka is soft and couldn't bruise a peach"

Constructive - "We are gonna have to dominate in the forwards to have a chance against Parra"
Non-constructive - "We are useless and will get 50+ points put on us by parra"

I have been guilty myself of using the Fatboi and Susan Boyle tags so I am not preaching... just making an observation that a LOT of ST 'commentary' can hardly be called 'Constructive Criticism' and you can see why some are happy to call it out when it is proven wrong...

We needs height and speed in our outside backs. If he's not built like that then I'm disappointed.
