Nothing was said about this by the commentators and no replays shown (unlike Ballin's supposed butt grabbing a few weeks ago), but have a look at the tape of Eels vs Cowboys, when the Cowboys are coming back and Hayne is getting frustrated.
At least twice when he is returning a kick he does this little stutter and then:
1. Lifts his elbow into the head of the chasing player.
2. Leans his upper body back and then strikes forward, almost headbutting the tackler.
Haynes was brilliant in the first half, could have played himself into an origin jumper. But his second half was the sort of lazy, petulant, selfish rubbish that stains his career.
