Touched the referee.
No chance. They'll probably drop the ref to the Reggie's for putting himself in a position to be touched by the chosen one.
Refs are human too, they have feelings...
As severely as Frizelle's attack from last weekend.
Yeah but the ref's dodgy knee miraculously cured itself.
Hayne touched the referee with a sad story about not fulfilling his dream of becoming an NRL official.
Where do you hear this nonsense.
It will be interesting to see if he does get suspended. If not it will only fuel the belief that certain players are a protected species in the NRL.
There is still time. Right after he has a go as a trotter at the harness races.
It is no longer just a belief V8, there is enough video evidence to establish it as a "known fact"
Agreed. Both Thurston and Smith have gotten away with it while others have been suspended. Its become a bigger joke than the bunker.
To be honest it was nothing, but then again so was Frizelles!!
Yes it will be interesting. The NRL's backed themselves into a corner with the Frizell incident, so how are they going to deal with this one involving golden boy? It couldn't have happened to a better player
I'll tell you who got touched. Hayne himself. Did anyone notice the trainer that walked Hayne to the sideline when he was first about to take the field?? The trainer walked with Hayne for about 10m with his hand softly stroking the base of Hayne's back, and then buttocks. He must have thought this sort of thing was par for the course in this soft modern version of the game. He's been away for a while, and this sort of thing is probably quite acceptable in America, but fair go! No wonder he tried to dry hump the ref.
I'm wearing a helmet right now.
No case to answer, was fulfilling a dream.
It was Hayne so the ref will be suspended instead
