This season so far the Eagles have not succumbed to a massive scoreline. They have been no 60 or 70 points racked up against us in games which is a credit to the players who have shown plenty of pride in defence.

I just hope history doesn't repeat itself against the Storm or the Dogs in the last 2 rounds.

The 2003/2004/2005 floggings at the hand of Penriff and the Sharks just to name a few still provide me with nighmares

I was just talking about this last night with a mate, it could happen in any of the remaining games, I wouldn't be surprised if it did, hope it doesn't.

I think this is the major difference between this year and last. Besides from that massive Sharks flogging, we also got a couple of 30 pt floggings (ie to Broncos). There has been none of that this year, which is great for our for and against. Full credit to the players and the staff.

From memory our biggest wins have come against the Dogs and Storm!

The Manly Directors and owners agreed that the game against Penrif at Brookie would have been a 50 point flogging at full time three years ago.
