Isnt it interesting how clubs like the Dogs, Roosters, Eels and Bronkos consistently get the high profile players to their clubs, while holding on to an array of other stars. Makes the salary cap an absolute joke. Greenburg and co are a blight on the game

Look at those teams rosters. Ours isn't far off in terms of quality.
I am glad we didn't sign Woods who is a powderpuff and Foran's back and hamstrings are stuffed. Tedesco has played SFA games the last few years. Not exactly the smartest signings.

Good points Ryan. My only concern is that these teams decimate teams like Wests just when they are starting to develop a good team. I know Manly did it decades ago but I'm glad we are into developing talent these days.

Pepi, our team is not full of established top drawer talent. We generally get young blokes and develop them or middle talent looking for a chance. That great team we had before had only two Truly established stars over a decade in Lyon and Kennedy. The rest were a couple of good players they acquired but most were young players they developed.

Manly's team is beginning to look good because other than Taupau and Uate (Myles could be included I guess)most are young players on the rise. Green was never a star, just competent. Bird is top drawer as is Tedesco, Woods, Foran, and all went to three of those four teams I mentioned as it tends to be year by year. Just shows Barrett is probably a very good coach, we've under estimated
