Many workplaces will now be in shutdown so I just thought I'd get in early and wish all of Silvertails a happy and safe holiday season. Particularly for anyone with kids in your family, I wish a little magic and glee.
For some there is a great religious significance to this time, for many the new year brings hope for change. For me it's simply time to chill without work pressure and have some feasts with family!
That is the 'happy'.
As to 'safe', there is an awful lot of alcohol (and other substances) consumed at this time of year and that always brings spikes in rates of violence and stupidity - so good luck keeping out of the way of all that.
And apparently, especially for young males there can be increases in mental health problems, suicide and risky behaviour. So - try to be kind to yourselves!
And if there's something you're hoping to receive, I sincerely hope you get it
