Today we're celebrating the birth of the World Wide Web! On this day in 1993, CERN released the source code for the World Wide Web into the public domain.

(Sir) Tim Berners-Lee originally developed the protocol in 1989 in order to improve the automatic information-sharing between scientists around the world.

We would say he succeeded! And MORE!

Quite a development! My favourite species is actually the canine, however I have to admire humanity's capacity for invention.
Of course, to date the web has facilitated the proliferation of false information, as well as useful stuff like recipes @;)

Interesting.
I’d imagine letter writing is a thing of the past.
From what I remember, a margin, I think?
Write name & address in the top right of the page, write the date, under the date, your greeting. If you were a Lefty your hand would smudge the ink...
I’ll just check my Emails.

I think we were taught to write each line of the address at a slight ...angle? (Indentation) to the above letter so it looked all nice and .. slopey.
