These next 2-4 weeks without Tommy will just about decide if we will play finals.

That’s what the form would say but I can just as easily see the opposite happening. Loss to cows and beat Penrith. This season still has a bunch of twists left in it I reckon. Hopefully our injury luck will turn and we gain momentum over the last 5-7 games.

Trouble is you can almost guarantee at least 2-3 you expect as wins will be losses and 2-3 you’d expect as losses will be wins.

The goal should be ten wins from ten games. If the players start looking at how many wins are needed to make the eight, inevitably they won't make it. This was the case in 2018.

In 2019, Des's goal was top four - don't know if he has given up on that goal for this year yet ...

Yeah, that’s a decent run home the boys have got. We should make the finals if Turbo and Walks can get through the last six games. Des never throws out any excuses, so they should all be primed to get it done.

Too true. Put the Titans game down as a loss already. But we’ll put 30 on Penrith. 😵

If we show up with the right attitude, we can beat anyone. We saw that on Saturday night.

We're only going to get better as the year goes on and we get everyone back.

I'm pretty confident we'll get there and we'll give some cheek too once we do.

Des doesn’t have to (and shouldn’t) give up on top 4, but realistically it is well beyond us this year. We would need 8/10 from here and I would be thrilled to get 6 wins. We have the most limited attack of any top 8 contender.

When fully fit I don’t agree around the attack. We can be a very good attacking side I believe, we’ve just been disrupted this year. Anyway time will tell. I’m sticking with us winning 7 of our last games, but I’m basing that on turbo returning in the next week or so
