Not for me Dz. Greyhound attendance ranks as one of the worst entertainment experiences in my life - the complete opposite of horse racing. I'll spare the details. Good luck though.

I've always wondered the costs associated with owning a greyhound, and usually on Sundays pop down to my local have a few beers and get on the punt on the greyhounds.

Pups at 12 weeks cost from $500 to $5000+ depending on pedigree and then over the next 70 weeks you can expect to outlay about $6000 covering rearing, basic & racetrack education, training, fees & registration. Syndicates run from $7500 to $20,000 with everything paid for up until racing. To buy a city class greyhound that is already racing costs a minimum of $10,000 to $25,000+. On-going training costs when in look to be almost $100 a week + vet bills.
