Ive had the pleasure of dining with him back in 2000 and you wouldnt meet a nicer man. I absolutely drilled him on Questions and he answered every one of them without a problem in the world . A true legend of Manly .

It was funny really , it was at the cliffy book launch and i got so bloody excited yakking to him that he rang his wife Barbara i think and said ill be staying at the club for tea. So on and on it went lol.

Arko graced us at a couple of MWTS functions after meeting me at a post match gathering at the Goldie, he said “ ah Mark, I’ve heard about you”, I was somewhat gobsmacked!!

We exchanged cards and he’s still in my phone book to this very day!!
