Manly were winners in that game, but so are the Bulldogs. I really hope the staff don't regret letting him go now.

Aside from the error rate, that was a very good game from the Eagles. The forwards aimed up. That final five minutes from the Eagles was champagne football.

The ref was too lenient with Souths in the ruck.

I was wondering if it was just me and my slightly skewed view, but I can't remember the last time we got a penalty for holding down in the ruck.

Tony Williams played very well tonight, made some great runs.  He finally ran straight at the defence over and over.  Would be awesome impact off the bench in the forwards.

Sheer guts. With losing Lyon and Matai a passenger, that was a very good win. Not too much science involved though.

I gave up on them about 3 times, but I'm glad they didn't give up!
