Gerard has always been a "Favourite Son" of the Sea Eagles, having adjudicated on 31 matches, always showing a professional approach, with Manly achieving a win in just 58% of those matches.

Refereeing at Brookvale (now known as Lottoland) is not easy, with such parochial supporters and I would like to ask those supporters who are employed in the concrete hauling industry to show their support by affirming that they will not be driving their work vehicle to the game tonight.

Sutton again! What did we ever do tho him? The calls in the first 30 minutes killed us. I thought we were the away team. We did not get one call from him, By half time damage was done!

We won penalty count 4-2 but didn't earn any worthwhile play the ball restarts.

Basically, if they have 20% more possession, we can't win.

Can't blame the ref for this one - we, including Des stuffed up badly.
