So last season we had the worst pre season anyone could imagine, we finished 4th (was it?) only to put in a horrible performance against the Storm (who were eventual premiers) in the semi to knock us out.

This year we've seen our fair share of injuries to key rep players to yet again finish 4th after putting in a faultless performance against the premiers 2 weeks out from the finals. Today was a nothing game.

The finals kick off next week and we seem to have some good momentum and should be at full strength.

The question is, is there anyone out there who still doubts Sir Geoffrey Toovey as a coach?

If you do, you have rocks in your head.

Well, playing devil's advocate, Manly weren't up for it today. Does it matter - NO! I don't have rocks in my head because I don't doubt Tooves as a coach. BUT, was it deliberate to get the 5 rather than 4 days off or not? I can't answer that but I'd rather we had a must-win game today and were battle hardened for when it matters. Chooks is actually my preferred choice 'cos Storm will face some angry Rabbits not happy with themselves.
