Penrith tabled him an offer (as much as they could afford I believe) knowing it wasn't as much as he could get elsewhere, & he decided to go elsewhere with the club's blessing.

Can't see any similarity to the Galvin situation here.

I do think Api trying to claim any kind of moral high ground and have someone stood dowb when he's played for 4 clubs and after what he did to his wife during origin is pretty laughable. Probably hasn't learnt the right to the moral high ground here.

If that's correct and the reason he wants to leave is to be better (or differently) coached, why would he think Ryles is that coach? Sure, he's been assistant coach with well established systems but he is a fledgling coach with no track record. What would make him think his coaching is well suited to his development??

It would be a shame if we don't or can't land some big name forwards. Then not having a play at galvin may be silly. As he probably ends up there in a few years. Even with large and walsh, they could be the best halves in the comp. But without a good pack in front of them, we go nowhere
