Firstly let me start by saying how thankful I am that Dan disabled the troll rating on posts.

They say there is no such thing as a free lunch (or free gear)…and there is nothing free about the site we all love.

I have posted it before but it is worth a repost. I see some great posters who offer a valuable contribution to the community Dan has built. I am looking at

I get that spending money for content on the internet can be a challenge for some however running a site like this....which is miles ahead of any another support site (have you ever read the kennel) does cost money.

If you have been around a while you will know that this is a labour of love for Dan not a profit making exercise, so get involved and help support the site that helps us all avoid work, family and anything else in the "real" world.


*No actual free gear in this thread but who knows what some of the prizes will be this year

I'm VERY thankful for the cash Dan forks out and all the work others do to maintain this place but the cost of shipping my prizes to me in the Philippines would far higher than the $25 entry fee.😉

On a serious note, i'm really not interested in spending the effort required to keep track of all the OTHER teams involved and making tips.

I may just donate out of respect anyways now that bozo has stopped hounding the sh#t out of us.🙂

You don't have to join the tipping comp to contribute financially @40 years an eagle You could always become a premium member for $25 and that gets rid of those annoying advertisement banners. Money well spent I reckon
