Cap worries over if this is proven to be true?

Not too stressed about that. I think Liam will turn into a solid player, just hasnt really got an opening at manly. Vic, a great clubman, and has never let us down, but is an honest toiler, and without any disrespect, we have some some very exciting up and comers and fringe players this year. Part of the cycle.

Surprised about fish. He looked to have the goods, and surely would have been close to a starting spot this year.

Little surprised Liam might move overseas. If he left, i thought he would try to get a deal in Sydney somewhere. A deal with Vic could well be done - he was supposed to be at a personal training session with Matt Ballin this week but could not attend for good reason (maybe out of the country)

Well the Salford guys seem pleased. Sad to see them go but wish them all the best. I'm happy L foz gets a starting role in first grade.

So who plays back up for the halves?

Dane Chisholm would be my guess.

So now with these guys heading off surely snakes contract can be finalised.

With Vic leaving, I guess we will have a fairly new front row this year.

But the increasing value of the Australian dollar, coupled with UK clubs' battle for survival, has negated the threat of the NRL's biggest stars being lost to Super League.

Former Canterbury fullback Luke Patten and ex-Kiwi Test utility Vinnie Anderson are owed an estimated $60,000 each by cash-strapped Salford.

Does'nt sound good. Vic and Liam better ask to see the money before they sign anything.

A rich bloke just bought salford and is paying debts. They'll be fine, and just got a 27 million pound stadium.

Good luck Vic and Liam, you guys played well for us and didn't look out of place in a top 4 nrl team. Premiership team for Vic of course.

disappointed to see liam go, thought he could have made our 17 as utility.
Vic mauro was solid but did look very fit. Liam has the job of helping the young french half they have signed a 5 year deal last year at 17 years old.

From all reports bar the rubblish from the DT, snake deal would have been no worries come the 5.8 cap increase. I would have no doubts maybe this money could go towards killer's new deal i would like to see us in the market for a established prop.
