Fitness a Concern

First Grader
There has been a visible drop in energy early in each game apart from the first Eels match, who have similar issues.

A few familiar signs -
* Losing the ruck constantly
* No pushing up in attack-support
* No fight to play the ball
* turnovers
* Stop moving up in defence
* Talk - communication
* Slow to regroup
* Heads drop easily
* Arms/ hands in defence
* Poor kick/chase
* Poor decisions in general
* Look disinterested

Fitness also has plenty to do with desire, attitude and mental fatigue which we are well down in.

Maybe clutching, but I feel plenty of those boxes are ticked

Am I the only one that thinks over the last 2-3 yrs that the team seems to be very much like the Titans were a few years ago?Moments of brilliance but in the main,mediocre and very injury prone and lacking in fitness
Agree mate - very, very patchy, just like the results

The team has been wilting late in games and I put it down to doing too much defence early in games and our halve not controlling and icing games in the last bit. the lack of repeat sets is really hurting us, in the game last night, if we had got one of them when we were on their line with ten to go we could have sealed the win, too many wrong options with the ball and a lack of creativity.

To be fair on the current team, 3 season-ending injuries and 2 other long-term ones have smashed the team!!
