Forwarded it on about 10 minutes ago and have already had 4 abusive replies :yeah: Good to feel the hate back :blaugh:
That song is so gay.
I clicked on the link this morning from MSE Admin and got bored by verse 2. I'm with Clon.
i hate it since when are we the sea gulls? im a sea eagles supporter not a defunct gold coast supporter idiots
we aren't the gulls he is saying as a single drawn out word "seagles"
Phew, that makes the song so much better. :|
I like it - old school! Were we ever known as "seagulls" in the early days?
I had this single as a kid - played it on the old turntable. Wish I had never let it go.
we were known as the seagulls once. But that song is worse than cheer cheer the red and the white.....
Some of you blokes don't know a good song when you hear one
As far as inspirational team songs go.....that rates a 1/10. How embarrassment.
mightn't know a good song when we hear one, but we can certainly recognise a bad one..
The best I've ever heard was the Roosters, 'Rooster's Man', very gay, very apt.
Something sure to fire everyone up - the big black bears are back on the road again or stand aside here come the mighty bears.
The Parra 'click goes the shears' rendition to the words of quick goes the ball from hand to hand and the Cronulla "roll out the barrel' going Up Up Cronulla, up with the black white and blue are of similar vintage and equally bad. All the AFL songs are of this ilk but they never stopped playing them.
