Feleti Mateo and Krisnan Inu to leave Parramatta

STAR Eels duo Feleti Mateo and Krisnan Inu will leave Parramatta at the end of this year after agreeing to terms with the New Zealand Warriors.

The pair broke news of their decision to team mates and coach Daniel Anderson at Eels training earlier today.

The Warriors have been chasing both players for several months are believed to have offered Mateo a whopping $350,000-a-season to switch clubs. Parramatta wanted to keep the talented utility, but simply did not have the space under their cap to match the Kiwi’s offer.

Inu – who debuted for New Zealand in 2007 - was always tipped to leave Parramatta after his indifferent form during the past two seasons
