For mine:
1. Haumole Olakau'atu *
2. Ethan Bullemor *
3. Taniela Paseka *
DAYLIGHT
4. Josh Aloiai *
5. Jake Trbojevic
6. Toff Sipley *
7. Caleb Navale *
8. Jake Simpkin *
9. Nathan Brown
10. Jazz Tevaga
DAYLIGHT
11. Lachlan Croker
12. Ben Trbojevic
13. Dean Matterson
14. GCKT *
15. Aitasi James
16. Siua Taukei'aho
Bullemor should not be coming off the bench. That alone, given the poor quality group of forwards we have would be reason enough to leave on its own right. I put a * next to the players I'd keep, versus letting go and upgrading.
Who below Bully would you place before him? I'd be very interested to know, and also why?
BTW, I also agree with others he should be playing Origin soon.
For mine, I'm rating players on their overall influence on us winning football games.
I have Haumole, Jake and Paseka as our three best forwards.
Without doing a deep dive into it Bully likely comes in best of the rest though Brown was generally quite impactful with a little fade towards the end of the year.
A lot of that comes down to his role, only playing 32 minutes a game. To be considered one of our best he needs to be out there for longer. Now, he doesnt decide his minutes annd I'd like to see that 32 more around 45min. So its either on Seibs for making a bad call or on Ethan to perform better/earn that trust.....probably a bit of column A and B.
As for starting....unsure, all his best work has been off the bench. I'm not saying he couldnt be an impactful starter but I've not seen it to date.
He doesnt have the ball playing skills to be a starting lock and I'm not sure on his presence as a starting prop. What he is excellent at is his leg speed. Coming on against tiring legs and running a fast angle in behind the markers looking for the quick play the ball.
Thats where I want to keep him. Off the bench but 45-50min.
As for Origin, cant certainly see him making it there. Probably not in 25 with a fully fit QLD pack but extended squad or coming in with a few injuries....can see that.
