Just a few shared views on season 2019 from Silvertails fans.
Up to 3 selections each question and why is it so (Dr Julius Cadbury Chocolate)
Here's my 10c worth....
1) Most Improved -
Parker - Has gone from "please no" to "damn - how long is he out for"
Suli - Ordinary last week, but a massive jump overall
AFB - Was outstanding in 2018 but now along with Marty, and Haas as the NRL's best
2) Best defenders -
Jake - Alongside Cam Murray as the best old school tacklers in the game
Jorge - After pleading guilty to assault on Munster and many more - a Must include
Thommo - Huge loss on those edges, hits hard, intimidates and its effort on effort
3) Best Attackers -
Turbo - Lights up the stage Every game - along with Tedesco as most deadly in the game
DCE - so much revolves around him, not running as much atm but a great option
Fainu - EVERY time he comes off the bench the tempo shoots to another level - future Star
4) Guts and Honour -
Thommo - Huge Inspiration, experience and toughness were Top shelf
DCE - Some Big pressure moments to Win games, has tackled well and is a very tough player imo
Jake - Just has to get a mention....we could do this the next 10 years and he will be there
5) Best Rookie Award -
Garrick - No brainer....scores tries, kicks goals and is a naturally gifted player who will only improve
Cust - May have dropped in pecking order, but played some great footy at 5/8 and has a future
Waddell - A classy youngster with old school footy skills, better early on, but has plenty to offer
6) Best Win -
Round 4 and round Round 19 were Super 1 point wins over Souths and Storm, but my personal favourite was Round 23 against Canberra 18 - 14....the critics slagged the match as a spectacle, but I seen it as a gutsy against the odds win with some great moments.
