Eagles paying off players

It was only a small paragraph in the Sun Herald on Sunday but someone divulged that Manly had paid another instalment to the players out of pocket at the end of the Northern Eagles debacle and we close to erasing the final debt.

Yes they have paid the second installment on June 30th.The last payment is scheduled for next June 30th.That will be good to finally get rid of.

To put the memory of that ill-advised shambles behind us will be great. I lost total interest in league in those years and to the Manly renaissance of the past two years has been great - even better if we could get rid of the staggers and make the semis (and sign a certain half-back!)

Great - bums like Kimmorely, Bailey & Muir are still getting our cash. What makes it worse is that it is now Norths share of the payment.
