Interesting to see in today’s Courier Mail that Burleigh Bears 5/8th, Dylan Kelly, will be headed down to Manly immediately. I know he was in our junior system, but haven’t seen too much of him since (I actually thought he was a forward from memory).

The article suggests he’ll obviously start at Blacktown but will look to push for NRL. Not sure how likely that is given we only have the one spot left.

This whole Hastings thing has become an absolute immortal joke. The punchline being we get to laugh at ourselves; as we flush another season down the drain.

Dylan Kelly the five eight? Hmmm Dylan can be a good replacement for poo in the back row sure. But he ain't a five eight, not at NRL level anyway.

The former sea eagle who we should be looking closely at for the halves is Nicho Hynes. He looks to be really maturing as a young footballer in the Qcup. I do think he might be a bit to good for this comp. I can't decide if he is a five eight, or fullback. But I am not sure we should have let him go.

He's a Berkeley vale junior, played a few years with us, bout 24, but he'll only play for Blacktown.
Tough bugger though.

Peta Hiku seems to be doing pretty well at the Warriors!!!! Lost his way when he left to go to the Panthers due to injury etc. He was pretty handy when he played for us! Wouldn't mind if he was still here!

We sure Dylan Kelly isn’t a fake centre the club has registered so we can release Walker and Kelly but actually keep them both and rotate them as needed..?
