Don't take the 2

Spot on TE. I prefer the aggressive approach of going for the juggler, but if 12 clear for example, take the 2 and make it a 3 try game. What I really liked about DVE's field goal on half time is that is that effectively put us 3 tries clear and created a massive psychological advantage.

What's wrong with jugglers?

It depends where in the game the 2 pops up. Teams that dont take the 2 early and fail to score against a fresh defence aftet 4 or 5 sets rarely win as the opposition knows they have your measure. Later in the game only take it to go out by more than a converted try

always take the two
except if you're flogging them or there's numbers there for a try

everyone harps on about the bad psychology of taking the two when you're in their 20
it's nothing on the bad psychology of not taking a gift 2, then not getting a try either

The win in Canberra, we took the 2 in the 1st 10mins, crucial in the end to winning the game

Win over the Roosters, took the 2 early, allowed us to be even going into the last few mins, rather than behind which may have changed what we were doing

I have no problem either way, against the good teams I think it's a good thing to get the scoreboard ticking over

The difference between kicking the ball between the posts or over the side line is minor. How the team plays after that ball has been kicked, now that could be pivotal .
