Dogs Salary Cap

I've been o'seas for 3 1/2 weeks,and return to find the club in turmoil (again).This may have been raised in another thread,and I apologise if it has.If Des takes even 2 or 4 of the "4 or 5" players with get out clauses in their contracts,with him to the dogs,how do the dogs go with their salary cap.If,as rumoured,Foran is one of them,he's got to be worth 300/350k at least.They have recently had a few retire/leave,but surely.with some of their signings,they must have cap constraints.Wouldn't it be great to see them running 1st in about early Sept,2013,then lose ALL their points for salary cap breach!

The Bulldogs are losing Idris, Roberts and Ryan immediately, and by 2013 might have let go of Pritchard, Keating and a few others. They may very well have room for a few signings and are probably already planning to create room.

Yep,realise that 61-0.I just wonder,though,if the players he takes in 2 years,win ANOTHER premiership in 2012,there is NO way they could afford to keep any semblance of their current team,and bring in ex-manly players.Foran would probably go to 450 (my opinion) in that scenario.+you have whatever other players he may take increasing their value as well.
It would be sooooo sweet to see the puppies do all this,and still turn out the flops we know they are!

We didn't go out and buy players. That was the key. We were able to have many great players on the cheap, that's where we succeeded.

If Hoppa is worth 800K as is being touted, then Foran is worth double that.

In reality though there's no way they paid 800K per year for Hoppa. It pretty much means almost half of Parra's cap is loaded up on 3 players. Unlikely.

Foran and DCE will be 500K players in quick time.
