Decision makers

Another decision i dont understand, we had flanno in the coaching staff. We literally had the choice of a premiership winning coach or a spoon winner. We would of been great under flanno.

And again.....I'm not disputing and of that, your points ring true.

It's a shame others can make their points without exaggeration and hyperbole.
Its similar to when people type, "I wish I married so and so if it meant I got a an NRL contract."

As if any little namby pamby can just run out in first grade. But i'd pay to see a few of them get folded.

It was Siebold that brought Flanno in as an assistant coach and that was 2 seasons back

Oh I don't know.

Theres at least 1 other Turbo brother.

I'm sure they could rustle up a few more in-laws to at least get a 17.

Surely the other brothers a hooker cause the rest of the family are screwing us massively

From Dan the Man (wonder if he has been reading these threads?) at the Sun-Herald, re: the Fluffster and the Strovster.

I wonder who is looking to oust Penn, or is Danny just basing his story on reading threads like this?

Is Penn mightier than the sword?

The Sea Eagles are fending off rumours about the future of Anthony Seibold, but it is not just the coach who is under pressure. Questions are also being asked about majority owner and chairman Scott Penn and chief executive Tony Mestrov.

We put it to Penn that there was a move to oust him, and while he did not want to comment publicly, he did say the rumours were wide of the mark. Penn has never lied to this column, so we are taking him at his word.

He was in Sydney when I contacted him, however the major criticism of Penn is that he lives in New York and needs to be more involved at Brookvale.

Mestrov is also being linked to an exit from the club. We have previously put this to him and he has denied he is looking for other jobs.

The Sea Eagles say they are all pulling together and are not a club divided.

Seibold is cheaper and more desperate for a job, He'd be a yes man and unlikely to talk back to Penn. Probably gives Penn the odd wristy too.

I think the fact that Easy Life Penn was in Canberra on a freezing cold night, thousands of miles (probably the word he uses now) from his cozy palatial life in NYC says something about something going on. Dunno what. But I am certain it was significant.

Or maybe he was just being an owner. I don't think he would just appear from NY on a whim, and had the trip planned for a few weeks atleast in his schedule

Im not sure, I don't keep a close eye on him and didn't even know he was in Canberra.

If your hunch is correct, let's see what changes

So the two options are that you are "accepting mediocrity" or you demand such excellence that you are going to quit following the club.
hahahaha! Nailed it Disco! @:D
What's with this line that often gets thrown on Silvertails of "you must accept mediocrity"......?
The mediocrity saying predates my time on Silvertails so i think it's well and truly woven into the very fabric of the site @:D

Tsk tsk, no need for that jibe. My guess is CWSF has excellent posture!

Maybe he was invited to dinner by Albo to discuss the NYC mayoral race.
