according to Danny Weedley.
They'd be silly putting a specialist halfback on the bench. He would have probably sat out the whole game on the bench as he did in the test.
Gillett got that bench slot over DCE and Barba
Would've been madness to go with anyone other than Gillett. DCE's too nice a guy to play with some of those cats.
Officially 18th Man
Does this means he plays for us this weekend if hes 18th man ?
Dont think so. Id say he will train and travel with the team.
18th man can play for their club. (At least they have in the past)
We are extremely thin ! for the next few weeks then !:dodgy:
But we have George.
18th man can play for his club but can be called last minute for the origin also. so Cherry will be our half against the roosters unless someone gets injured in training for the maroons.
Yeah im wrong. The club said he will face the chooks via FB.
Well that won't be much help. I would rather have him at Brookie than facing the chooks via FB. Then again, given the Roosters pack, it may be safer facing them that way.
Look, easts have a young side, so bullying via Facebook may actually be quite effective.
Maybe Hoppa Snr. can make a comeback, and play them via Facebook.... And 'poke' them.
DCE will get his chance at origin, for a long time I reckon. Sucks if you are a NSW boy.
DCE may still play hodges is is doubt .
Lets put the mock on Cronk Matty Ballin got to play when he was 18th man - and did Manly proud
thurston will do his ankle slipping on a banana peel. DCE plays. 2V and Cliffy better have teh boots ready
I thought I read that Dane Nielsen is on standby for Hodges. He is the 19th man.
