thurston and kieran will clear away IMO.Easily best 2 playmakers in comp atm (not including locky as he will miss too many games to win it)and halves win it most years.

may come down to an injury and the way kieran plays it may be more likely he misses a couple.

Thurston needs to be taken out in a few weeks time at Brooky. I can seriously see Foran winning it then. Slater/Gallen/Smith will miss a few games with the origin to give Foran a greater lead.
Interesting though is that Gasnier and Creagh on 9 and Soward on 6. Fair way behind the leaders at the moment. Shows how had they will be to beat with an even playing roster.

Not sure why people put a lot of stock in this award. You could put a good case forward for arguing about 80% of the judges selections each week. Its like the Brownlow in the AFL, who cares about the Brownlow when you do nothing but bag the opinions of the people who give the points each week.
