Without naming names or any accusations he was training with specialist sprint coaches and the like. We all know the world of sprinting is rife with special sauce. Now im not saying its the sprint coach but if he's hanging around that crowd its plausible that another athlete has said 'hey try this mate' and perhaps the temptation was just too much.

Of course he is due the presumption of innocence, but gee, tough to accidently get 5 different steroids in your system
Yep. The Testosterone is the baby of that concoction.
If he gets outed for four years, is that just with the NRL, or sport altogether?

I noticed a soon to be rich Knight in the shots of the sprint coach training session on ABC, also a rather fast fluffy tailed Storm player in the same sprint stable...just sayin and joining dots....Not sure why the sprint coach would immediately talk to the press though with the surprise line. All pure speculation of course.

Also I believe that ASADA are saying this is the tip of the iceberg so there may be more hence the confiscation (and return) of his mobile phone.

Excuse the pun but this story has Legs and is going to run and run.

Proves that once again, nothing good comes from a guy dying his hair blonde!

Seriously though, wasn't he the one where they filmed him getting his first top grade game, filmed him ringing his mum in tears he was that happy?

If true, then it is it sad all around.

On another note, I hope when the footy starts we stop hearing Gallen commentating on everything like he is the next Sam Neuman wannabe. His garbage has driven me crazy over the 'off' season.

Bit of chatter on Twitter last night that this won’t be the only one , if so don’t know why they’d be holding back on any further announcement.

In the photos his biceps and triceps look ridiculous for a 19 year old outside back. Reminiscent of mullen’s upper arms. Watermelon arms.

Historically (and frustratingly) these investigations don't proceed quickly! I'm sure you remember this one

The greyest day in australian sport.....
Oh look over there its a royal commission into the bushfires and how 455 died because of smoke.

Gallen has come out an said ASADA are trying to create headlines.

Gal I would prob keep my mouth shut if I were you.

Gals comments aside. You do need to question ASADA PR management.

We had the 'darkest day in sport' turn out to be no more than a little overcast. Now this announcement, on the eve of the return of the first major sport in Australia.

Domestic confidence is shot and mental health for many Australians have taken a beating - sport returning is a positive step for community and gives some people hope we are potentially seeing some light (yes the threat of second wave is still very much a possibility).

Don't trash the sport 2 days out from what people perceive as a positive step in the community.

If Xerri is guilty, of course stop him playing, but do it quietly with the NRL and Cronulla until the B sample is available. Or if you've known the A sample result for a while, then act earlier.

Yes it has to come out as this shows other players cheating is not tolerated, but not 2 days before a major milestone in the pandemic.

Must have had a good understanding of the type of supplements on offer so hard to have much sympathy for him but certainly for the Shark"s members and supporters and of course disappointing for the game in general . Really hard to comprehend when he has so much natural ability in the first instance . Mainly arrogance or ignorance or a combination of both for him to think that he would not be eventually busted . Question is , will this situation result in an increased deterrent for other players in future times who may be tempted or gullible enough to try the same act of stupidity

How could you forget!!

I have to say, if the NRL had actually punished the sharks instead of the watered down punishment they were handed for their systematic and prolonged drug cheating then perhaps the up and coming NRL stars such as Xerri would be a lot more adverse to using drugs to cheat. Having seen what went on with his childhood hero Gal (insert photo of young Bronson with Gal circa 2013) Bronson, its only logical to conclude, would think that being a drug cheat is ok and will not bring any real adverse consequences. Instead the sharks, players and fans (inc a young Bronson)sufferered no real punishment and its effect is still real in 2020.
