Crap start 2019 - or Siege Mentality Time ??

The chips are already down.
The fact is another season starting behind the 8 ball with player stand downs, key injuries and playing with far less salary cap than the other teams....
Here we were the past 2 months worried about the backline.
Now on the cusp of the season opener we get Walker likely gone....and Tommy T our No 1 Attacking weapon out for a few weeks.
Its definitely not an ideal way to start a new season, but with a backbone of Des and his troops rallying around the boys, they are the type of leaders to reverse the mentality to us vs them....
The "THEM" includes opposition players, fans, coaching staff and those low life media scum who always look to dig a negative against Manly - well it could backfire with the people we have running the show now.
They got away with it when we had clowns running the circus, but Des and his true Manly coaching staff, will have these players all over this stuff and turn it into a positive.
I anticipate regardless of results, this team will come out with aggression and will fight against the adversity and when you are 100% committed with energy and attitude, you will always give yourself a chance of victory.

That’s the thing is if Dylan Walker hadn’t allegedly pulled his partner’s hair or scared her with his behaviour then he and the club wouldn’t have been put in this position. The people he has really hurt (apart from his partner) are the club and his team mates who now have to play the next 10 games without him. He was an important part of this team and his team mates were looking forward to his imput in the games. Dylan Walker only has himself to blame for putting himself in this situation and I sincerely hope he starts to wake up to his responsibilities to himself, his family and his team mates.

Good reference Maxta to Des and the staff on the job. Des and his loyal followers will demand success not wish for it like zoolander. He will be on the look out for dodgy doors in all dressing rooms. The guys will soon get the message that being Manly is giving everything you have for the proud maroon and white and poor performance Des will have a good old fashion ‘ have rest this week champ. We have another player willing to have a crack in the NRL” . We’ll be okay this year just may need some time but Des will have s plan.
