It will be interesting how long it is before the conspiracy theories start about the cover ups over Joey's drug taking. There has been innuendo for years and he is quoted in today's Tele that it was well known. In 17 tests over 10 years it is hard to accept that someone didn't know.
Various rumours have circulated before that not all of his injuries have been bona fide, but enforced due to club testing and the need to avoid ASDA. Certainly unsubstantiated but an interesting thought.
Andrew Walker, Kevin McGuiness and a few others would have good cause to cry for Double Standards on this.
Curoius also that Willie Mason has leapt to his defence, given the similar innuendo about his life. The Roosters have also had a sniff (no pun intended) about them re the recreational drug scene and more than one Sydney Club is alleged to be rife with users, especially in the off-season.
I wonder if Pandora's Box has opened up or whether this will all die a death and Joey will take the hits for it all??
