Sea Eagle, Jason Wells has been selected in the NSW Residents side to play before State Of Origin II.  Its a fantastic reward for the Sea Eagles NSW Cup player who made his NRL debut against the Knights last year.

Surely he is in line for a few 1st grade appearances this year? Instead of maybe Willow?

Willo offers no attack. Against the Dragons, he was getting flat balls from Orford, and he hits the line and just dies.

I wouldn't mind Wells having a good crack instead of Willo.

This selection indicates his form is better than average so i cant see why we shouldnt see him get a run in the top grade again.

He had 3 runs in the latter rounds of 07 and hasnt been seen since.

If we stick stringently to current roster without allowing the back up players to experience some 1st grade then it we just dont allow ourselves the safety of ensuring Willow is covered (well)s .......if injured.
