Now they are saying Radley will play. Cheese has been a bit off for Chooks anyway. So really only missing Walker from a full strength team. Tough assignment. Not booking any flights to Melbourne.
I hope Radley does play, which I doubt, seeing that he fractured his scapular last week , anyway, he's always good for a few penalties or a sin bin

Been at a work conference all week so haven't read through this thread.

Here is my take

Its a free shot tomorrow
No one rates us
Roosters at home
2 big ins for them.

roosters are deserved favourites and will probably win but they are beatable.

It's all about the start.

Roosters will want to start fast and do what Penrith did to them last week.

If our right side of Ruben Lehi don't dce don't defend well that's where the roosters will attack.

If the roosters get a lot of possession on our line early and we crack could be a long night

roosters by 14
Our GF was last week
yes, i am concerned that they have big tall wingers toupo and youngand robust centres in sualli and manu. our centres and wingers I feel are at a disadvantage defending these big fast roosters players. Hope I am wrong. if only Saab was available, it would somewhat neutralise their advantage. I believe our halves are superior and the forwards are even.
if the roosters win, it would be tries by their centres and wingers, I feel. I feel they will bomb away to the corners where our shorter players are at a distinct disadvantage in trying to out jump young and tupou.

I’m confident, not sure why , but I am
Same here. We smashed them in Las Vegas and they only just beat us a a couple of months back. That day Walker mesmerised us and we pretty much lost Alioia in the first tackle and a few other injuries during the game. Today no Walker and I think Josh wont be playing under handicap and due for a big one.. That was also a hell of a gutsy win from our guys a few days ago against the Dogs and 50k screaming Dogs spectators. I think that win will set the platform for today. We just need our middles to aim up. Lodge will be up for a big one given his contract status and he has been the leader of our pack last few games. I smell roast chicken!!! .

Roosters have won five straight against Manly in the Moore Park precinct: three at the SCG, one at the SFS and most recently in round 21 at Allianz Stadium. Since this finals format was adopted in 2012, only six of the 24 games in Week 2 have been won by the lower-ranked team coming off a win in Week 1.

Your concern is well-founded. I'm worried about their tall wingers too and would feel easier if Saab was playing. Let's hope our wingers and centres have been practising bomb-catching.

We’d be better off letting them catch it, then smash them. Part of our game plan should be getting Brooks & DCE to place some nice Tricky Trindell grubbers behind the Roosters wingers. Especially late in the halves. Lehi and Koula chasing through. If not for a try, at least bury them in the in goal.

If the whistle stays in the pocket for 6 agains and unworthy penalties, as in last nights game then that could be to our advantage
Klien did a 6 again at the end of the 4th tackle last night in the 20m zone. Seen him do this other times as well on the 5th tackle, It's virtually handing a try to the recipient every time.

Sounds like a good plan but now they have to actually put it into practice. And yes Tricky Trindell's grubbers were great last night.

I've thought about this also, especially if the bomb lands close to the sideline. Catching it could result in one of our wingers being smashed over the sideline with ball in hand. Definitely a tactic that could work for us.

Big day for the boys. They've struggled to put two big wins back to back all season so let's hope today breaks that shackle..anyway, I reckon the team that scores the most points will win this game
i thought thats what usually happens 😁😁 the most points wins-lol
